Worship

At St. David’s, one way we express our love of God is through worship. Our services are both “liturgical”(meaning they follow a pattern with a rich history going back to the 16th century) and informal (people come dressed in whatever is comfortable for them, we sing different styles of music, laugh often, and many times watch a skit for a sermon illustration of have interactive discussions on the sermon topic.

Services are at 8 am and 10 am September- June, and at 9 am during July and August. Communion is offered at both services and all are welcome to receive. Coffee and refreshments are always available afterwards. For information about baptisms or wedding, feel free to call the office.

Everyone is encouraged to take a deep breath, pray, and simply be present. But there are also opportunities to assist with the worship. The Altar Guild prepares and decorates the sanctuary. Our choir provides music. There are ushers who welcome people , and lectors  who read scripture or lead the prayers. Acolytes carry the cross and assist the priest. Eucharistic ministers help serve communion.
